Polo Instruction

Play Polo LLC offers the complete spectrum of polo instruction, such as horsemanship, polo-swing dynamics and game rules & strategy. You will learn all the elements of what makes polo one of the most exciting sports in the world! Lessons last one hour and are in groups of 2-6 people. All you need to get started is a comfortable polo or t-shirt, jeans, gloves and boots (or shoes). We will have all the essential polo gear ready for you. Our polo ponies will be tacked up and ready to go when you show up!

POLO LESSONS – $90 – 1 hour
($60 = horse owner rate)

POLO LESSON PACKAGE – $900
10 polo lessons + 1 polo lesson free (1 hour)
($600 = horse owner rate)

RIDING LESSON – $50
1/2 hour polo specific riding lesson

RIDING LESSON PACKAGE – $500
10 polo specific riding lessons (1/2 hour) + 1 free

TRAIL RIDE – $50

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

No prior horse riding experience is necessary to learn to play polo. You will learn to ride as you learn to play polo. Of course it will be an asset if you have prior horse riding experience.
You can start as young as you want, though most kids begin around 8 years of age. There is no age limit.
Being in decent shape helps, but it’s not necessary to learn to play polo. After all, it’s the horse who is running, not you!
There is an element of danger when you are sitting on a 1000 pound animal. However, the polo ponies are used to handle inexperienced polo players.
Each lesson is 1 hour long.
Outdoor polo is dependent on the weather. However, we partner with indoor arena’s in the area so we can play indoor polo!
